Science Minister seeks meeting on support for life sciences sector in Ulverston

I was so pleased to have received a letter from Minister for Science, George Freeman MP regarding the Life Sciences Opportunity Zone.

I am very grateful that the minister has confirmed BEIS' support for the GSK Taskforce's vision of Ulverston as a life sciences hub, including:

Consideration of Ulverston as a Life Sciences Opportunity Zone

An offer to meet to discuss the new masterplan for the site.

I'll arrange to meet with the Minister, and the Office of Life Sciences, in the coming weeks to keep up the momentum.
